Haymarket Farmer’s Market: Apr. – Sept.

The Haymarket Farmer’s Market has officially re-opened and will be open every Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., beginning now through December! The market is located at the Haymarket Town Hall, 15000 Washington St., in Haymarket and parking can be found in the lot directly in front of Town Hall on Washington Street. Featuring local produce, fresh cut flowers and a variety of locally-made foods, beauty products, art and more—this is the perfect place to get your weekly shopping done, support local business owners and spend some quality time with your family! Kite Festival: Apr. 27

Come celebrate the arrival of spring and join the fun as hundreds gather to send their kites to the sky at The Annual Kite Festival! Presented by The City of Manassas Park’s Park & Recreation Department, this event will be held on Sat., April 27, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. All festivities will take place at Signal Hill Park, 9300 Signal View Dr., in Manassas Park—less than a 30-min. drive from both Haymarket and Gainesville. All-ages (and kites!) are welcome and festival entry is FREE. If you choose to not bring your own, kites will be available to purchase for $5/ea. at the event. Motown Revue Concert: Apr. 27

It’s concert time! Friends, families, couples and community members of all ages are invited to The Motown Revue Concert this April 27, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.! Come party and soak in the sweet sounds of live Motown music, as a full band plays all of our favorite hits! Hosted by The Contemporary Music Center in Haymarket, 4410 Costello Way, in the center’s state-of-the-art performance room called @4410. With amazing acoustics, pro sound gear, friendly staff and plenty of space to boogie down—this night is sure to be unforgettable! Tickets are on sale now, ranging from $15 to $20/ea. Spring Yard Sale: May 11

Love bargain & treasure hunting? Have some spring cleaning items to let go of? The Annual Spring Yard Sale is the place to sell your old stuff and find great deals! Located at 99 Adams Street in Manassas Park, this enormous yard sale attracts people from all over the county. Find gently used clothes, toys, sporting goods, home décor items, collectibles, furniture, and more! Admission is free and it is $10/space for vendors. The Tough Mudder Classic: June 1-2

It’s time for…MUD?! That’s right—the Tough Mudder Classic 2019 is coming to Haymarket this June 1-2! This one-of-a-kind athletic event will feature a 5K race, 8 – 10 miles of mud-soaked mayhem and will be absolutely loaded with 25 of the best-in-class obstacles, including 10 new or updated obstacles for 2019. This epic bash will be hosted by the Prince William County Office of Tourism, and will start and end at Silver Lake Regional Park, 16198 Silver Lake Rd. Participants, spectators, and volunteers are invited to take part in an entire weekend of fun events at the park, including live entertainment, a variety of games and challenges, authentic local food, frosty beers and a never-ending supply of Mudder Nation camaraderie! Registration is required and tickets start at $89/ea., with discounts and free entry and discounts available for military members, volunteers and more.
