Thumbtack is a great new service we just discovered that lets you find local professionals to help with all sorts of things.

It’s a great resource for getting those home improvement projects done, but you can also find a personal chef, life coach, or dog walker. It’s a really easy to use site and the profiles give you a good feel for providers.
